MASTER OF SCIENCE
ARCHITECT MARIA MURAWSKY
Maria Murawsky is a Berlin-based architect and interior architect whose practice explores the relationship between architecture, interiors and atmosphere. Defined by a refined sensitivity to proportion, light and material, her work combines architectural clarity with a calm and timeless elegance.
She holds a Master of Science in Architecture and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Poznań University of Technology. Before founding her own studio in 2019, Maria Murawsky worked with several renowned architectural practices in Poland and Germany, gaining experience across a wide range of residential and commercial commissions.
Today her studio develops projects across Europe and internationally. Her design sensibility has been strongly shaped by the architectural cultures of Brazil, France and Italy, which have influenced her perception of space, materiality and the emotional quality of interiors. These references continue to inform her approach, resulting in spaces where architectural restraint meets a strong sense of atmosphere.
Maria Murawsky’s interiors have been featured in international publications including Vogue, Vogue Living, Elle Decor and Architectural Digest, among other leading design and lifestyle magazines.
Alongside her architectural practice, she also engages in curatorial and exhibition work. She co-created and curated an exhibition dedicated to Brazilian modernism and the work of designer Jorge Zalszupin, for which she also designed the exhibition architecture, bringing together architecture, design history and spatial storytelling.
